Posted September 29, 2018 07:29:06 The $2.3 billion Australian Advertising Standards (ASA) is expected to spend on the digital advertising industry this financial year.
But, what do you actually know about the industry?
With the new Digital Advertising Alliance’s (DA) Digital Advertising Fact Sheet, it’s time to ask those questions.
Digital advertising is booming, with over $1 billion spent on digital ads and $1.5 billion spent online last year, according to the ASA.
It is also booming in the United States, where it’s predicted to grow by $5 billion over the next five years.
The ASA Fact Sheet is a comprehensive guide to the digital industry, covering how much money advertising is making in Australia, how much is spent on advertising, how advertisers are earning, how advertising is being used and how digital ads are affecting consumers.
While the guide is not comprehensive, it provides a good starting point to get a better sense of how advertising industry is spending its money.
Digital ad spend is a big issue Digital ad spending in Australia is rising faster than the rest of the world.
Digital revenue has grown by 40 per cent over the past year, rising to $7.5bn in 2016-17.
While digital ad spending is growing, it is also rising faster in Australia than anywhere else in the world, according the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
This is partly due to the fact that Australians spend an average of $4.25 on advertising each month.
The OECD has reported that Australians spent $4,500 on digital advertising in 2017.
That compares to $1,200 for the US and $3,000 for Canada.
The digital advertising spend in Australia also exceeds the amount spent on television advertising, which was $5.3bn last year.
While there are differences in the spending of different countries, digital advertising is seen as one of the most cost effective ways to reach consumers in Australia.
A recent survey from the digital ad spend tracker AdWords found that digital ad revenue in Australia averaged $3.8 billion a year, up from $2bn a year in 2016.
This means that advertising spend on digital media has increased by 40% from 2016 to 2017.
It also means that digital advertising can reach an average user in Australia of just $2 per month.
Digital ads have also been showing up on TV more frequently than in the past.
The ABS’ National Digital Ad Spending Survey found that TV ad spending on digital ad was up 41 per cent to $6.4bn last season.
While TV ad spend grew by 8.4 per cent, digital ad expenditure rose by 10.4%.
Advertisement The data also suggests that advertising spending on online media is increasing faster than on TV.
The latest National Digital Advertising Survey found online ad spend increased by 25 per cent year on year to $5bn last financial year, while TV ad spent was up 27 per cent from 2016-2017.
It’s also worth noting that advertising revenue from the internet grew by an impressive 60 per cent last financial season, to $15.5billion.
